Turnly makes my eight-mile commute feel safer, especially at night. A quick press on the remote signals turns without taking my hands off the bars, and drivers seem to give me more space. The bag is breathable and easily fits my laptop, lunch and spare clothes. My only gripe: a handlebar mount for the remote isn’t included.

★★★★★
My husband got me Turnly for my dark commutes, and six weeks in, using the turn signals feels automatic. The LEDs are bright, the compartments are practical, and the straps stay comfortable on long rides. The rain cover fits everything snugly. A genuinely useful backpack.

★★★★★
Turnly’s bright arrows make signaling on my e-bike clearer at night. The remote is easy to use, and the bag comfortably holds my daily essentials. Four stars because, despite the included rain cover, I’m still unsure how waterproof the LED panel is in heavy rain. Otherwise, a great commuter backpack.

FAQs

How do the turn signals work?
Turnly has an LED panel on the back of the bag that shows a lit arrow. You control it with a remote, using the left and right buttons. Press the button for the direction you’re turning and the arrow lights up for those behind you.
Does it replace my bike lights?
No. Turnly is an extra way to signal your turns and doesn’t replace the front and rear lights or reflectors that local rules may require. Please check the requirements where you ride.
What size is it and how much can I carry?
Turnly has an 18 L capacity and measures 44 x 29 x 18 cm (17.3 x 11.4 x 7.1 in). It has a spacious main compartment, a top pocket for small items, a mesh side pocket and a bottom pocket, so your daily essentials stay organized.
What can I do with the remote?
The remote has buttons for left, right and forward arrows, plus a stop signal that lights up in orange. It also has a standby/flashlight button. Press the one you need and the signal shows on the back of the backpack for those behind you.
Is it comfortable for daily rides?
Yes, it’s designed for daily use. It has breathable mesh shoulder straps, a breathable mesh back panel, and adjustable chest and waist straps to keep it in place. A bottom compression strap helps secure your load, and there’s a handle strap and a D ring for hanging small items.
What happens if it rains?
Turnly includes a rain cover, stored in the bottom pocket so it’s always with you. We recommend using it whenever the weather turns wet.

At dusk, cars signal with a click while you stick out a hand and hope the driver behind looks up. That half second at every junction, wondering “did they get it?”, rides home with you.

The chest strap and waist strap make a real difference in how stable the bag feels at speed. It doesn't bounce or shift when I'm going fast or going over bumps. That kind of stability matters on a bike.

Signal works great and I love the concept. Four stars only because delivery took a bit longer than I expected. Once it arrived everything was perfect. Would order again.

The nylon feels durable and the reflective strip adds extra visibility at night on top of the LED signal. Everything about the build quality is better than I expected at this price. The stitching looks solid after months of use.

Really good product. Does exactly what it says and the bag quality is better than expected.

The remote attaches easily and the buttons are tactile enough that you can feel which one you're pressing without looking. For something you use while navigating traffic that matters a lot.

Works really well and I use it every day. Would give five stars if the setup instructions were a bit clearer. I figured everything out but it took a few minutes that would have been saved with better documentation. The product itself is solid.

I've been commuting by bike for three years and signaling has always been the thing I liked least about city riding. Hand signals in the dark feel invisible and taking a hand off the bars at a busy intersection genuinely makes me nervous. I bought Turnly because I wanted to keep both hands on the bars without giving up signaling. It does exactly that. The remote is intuitive after about two rides, the LED arrows are bright enough to see the reflection off cars at night, and the bag itself is a proper commuter pack with enough space for a full work day. The mesh back panel and breathable straps make a difference on longer rides. The signal has worked consistently through every commute I've done.

Better built than I expected. The zippers run smoothly, the straps are properly padded, and the bag holds its shape when full. Nothing feels flimsy or cheap. Has held up well to daily use.

Living in a city where drivers are aggressive, anything that makes my intentions clearer is worth it. The turn signal arrows are big and bright enough that even distracted drivers notice. The bag holds everything I need for work and the mesh back panel actually breathes.

First ride and I immediately understood why I needed this. Never going back to hand signals.

I press a button and drivers know I'm turning. Simple, effective, exactly right.

Great concept, works as described and the bag is genuinely comfortable. Four stars because I'd appreciate a handlebar mount for the remote included in the box. I found one that works but it would be a nice addition out of the box.

I signaled by hand for years and figured it was fine. First commute with Turnly and I immediately understood what I'd been missing. Drivers read the arrows immediately in a way they never read my hand.

Comfortable bag, bright signal, simple remote. Everything I needed from a commuter backpack.

I bought this as a gift for my partner who just started commuting by bike and was nervous about traffic. The setup was straightforward and she was using it confidently by the second ride. The turn signal has made a real visible difference in how drivers treat her at intersections, she notices them giving more space and reacting to the arrows clearly. The bag quality was an unexpected bonus. She said it's more comfortable than the commuter bag she'd been using for years. The chest strap and mesh back panel stand out in particular. As a gift buyer I felt confident recommending it and even more confident after seeing it in daily use.

Been riding in the city for years and always felt invisible on turns. Turnly changed that. The arrows are bright, clear and unmistakable from behind. I press the button before I even think consciously about the turn now. It's become a reflex.

The D ring for hanging small items is one of those details that tells you the designers actually thought about cyclists. I clip my lock to it. Small thing but it shows attention to the use case.

The compartment layout is really well thought out. Main compartment for the big stuff, top pocket for things I need quickly, side mesh pocket for my water bottle. The rain cover gives me peace of mind on unpredictable days. And the signal works perfectly.

Bought this for my wife who just started commuting by bike. She was nervous about signaling in traffic and this completely resolved that. She said the first ride with it felt much more confident than any ride before. Good gift for a new commuter.

I appreciated that the bag has a bottom pocket separate from the main compartment. I keep my rain cover in there and it's always accessible without digging through everything else. Good design detail that matters when you ride daily.

I bought this for my partner after watching him nervously signal turns with one hand in city traffic. He now uses it every day without exception. It solved a real problem and the bag is genuinely good quality on top of that.
Mildred Y. 5/5 Verified
The nonslip handle on the top is something I didn't know I needed until I had it. Grabbing the bag to move it around or hang it up is so much easier. Small thing that makes the whole bag feel more considered.

Six weeks of daily use and everything still works exactly as it did on day one. The bag is holding up well, the LED panel is bright every single time, and the remote hasn't given me any trouble. Solid everyday commuter bag.
Frank O. 5/5 Verified
didn't expect to like the bag itself as much as the signal but the quality is genuinely good. mesh back, chest strap, rain cover. it's a real commuter bag.

The remote has four buttons: left, right, forward, stop. That's it. No app, no pairing, no setup. I pressed it once the day it arrived and it just worked. That simplicity is exactly right for something you use while riding.

Perfect gift for anyone who commutes by bike or e-bike in a city. Practical, well made and solves a real problem. My brother asked me where I found it after seeing it on my back. Ended up buying two.

The arrows are big and clear. Not just a small indicator but a full arrow pattern that's unmistakable. Drivers understand immediately what it means. That's the whole point and it works.

Electric scooter commuter here. The turn signal backpack is perfect for my setup. I can't signal with my hand safely at scooter speeds and this solves that completely. The bag is also comfortable for longer rides.
